What Exactly is Science Inquiry Anyway?

Science inquiry is a way or a method of how students study science.  This method of studying science is a deeper way to study science because the students have to think and reason.  They use a hands-on approach to acquire a deeper, richer understanding of the concepts, principles, models, and theories

The science inquiry method helps the students learn the key concepts of science by designing and conducting their own investigations.  They then communicate their finding both by speaking to others and by writing in their journals.

More specifically, science inquiry helps students express their current thinking by interacting with objects, organisms, substances, and equipment to develop wider base of knowledge.  They compare their findings with others and make connections between their experiences and the real world.
